Despite the fact that my legs had had enough I forced myself around the Marin Trail again. On my own this time and taking it easy. Yesterday I only used the granny ring on one small very steep section of tarmac, today I think I was in it most of the time!

It was a real battle of will-power just to keep going, but I did, and as i was on my own there were no stops and no chatting so I was actually a few minutes faster than yesterday despite not really putting in too much effort.

It was colder today and there was a bit of snow at the top and snow-flurries all the way around. Glad I did it, although I was glad when it was over too!
